August was another busy yet productive month for our team. This last month, Booking Success traveled from Curaçao through Trinidad & Tobago to both Barbados and Dominica. We met many hospitality professionals and discussed their personal challenges. We also welcomed several new clients and enjoyed working on some challenging projects with our existing customers.
Visit to Barbados
On August 22nd, Booking Success traveled to Barbados. Much like our previous trip to the island, we immediately felt very welcome and at home. We stayed at the Southern Palms Beach Club and we can’t recommend this hotel enough. The surroundings, its ambience, the helpful staff, its location right on Dover Beach — we felt pampered from the moment we arrived till the day we left.
“Although this was a work visit, the island’s hospitality and the lovely setting of Southern Palms Beach Club made it a very enjoyable and memorable stay.” - Alexander Galarraga, CEO and Partner of Booking Success.
Visit to Dominica
A few days later, on August 25th, our visit to Barbados came to an end. Our next stop was Dominica. Dominica, not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, is a Caribbean island that has not yet been spoiled by mass tourism. With it’s lush mountains, dense rainforests and breathtaking waterfalls, Dominica is a spectacular island that has been able to retain its authenticity.
While here, Alexander visited various hotel properties and met some of the island’s hospitality professionals:
“Our visit to Dominica fulfilled my need to learn more about the tourism industry on the island and the challenges that the hospitality sector here faces. I thoroughly enjoyed having in-depth conversations with hotel owners and property managers about changing market trends and sharing my viewpoints on how they can achieve goals for their hotel business.”
Next stop: St. Lucia
Being part of the Booking Success team, we experience the pleasure of meeting so many individuals who are experts in their field. Now we are back to the grind, preparing and organising ourselves for our upcoming St. Lucia trip — which will happen from September 22-27. We are very excited to visit yet another Caribbean island and will update you on what we are doing while we are down there.
