A Year in Review: Booking Success looks back on 2019

The end of another busy, yet very enjoyable year

As I look back on the past year, I’m filled with gratitude. The team and I have traveled to many Caribbean islands and met numerous inspiring hospitality professionals. We’ve strengthened our team with a number of new staff, and welcomed many new clients as well as having the pleasure of continuing to work with our existing clients.

Earlier this year, Booking Success was invited by The Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association (BONHATA) to participate in their seminar ‘Hospitality Marketing Trends in 2019’. I was honored to give a presentation about how hotels and resorts can thrive in a world of information overload.

In July, we traveled to Anguilla where Booking Success hosted a seminar on hospitality marketing trends in partnership with the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association (AHTA). Our presentation provided insight on how hotels can use online marketing strategies to ensure high occupancy year-round, increase their direct bookings, and lower their OTA commissions.

Fast forward to October when we traveled from Curaçao to Colorado to attend the annual USUMMIT. We learned from speakers such as Brent Weaver, Ruben Gonzales, and Blair Enns, as well as discussed cases and shared knowledge with like-minded professionals. For us, it was an inspiring summit—one that left us feeling motivated and eager to put new practices in place.

Some of the other places that Booking Success visited in 2019 include Barbados, Colombia, Dominica, Miami, St. Barts, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten, and St. Lucia. We pride ourselves on building great relationships with clients all around the Caribbean ― and beyond. Many of our customers quickly became trusted partners and just as often, friends. We can't wait to see what 2020's calendar will look like!
